MS can be tough to deal with. Whether you have MS yourself or you’re close to someone who does, it can throw a lot at you, often without warning.
You don’t have to face it on your own. The MS Society can help you get the right support.
Living with a long term condition, especially one with unpredictable symptoms, can take its toll emotionally. But you're not alone. Help is out there if you need it, whether from others in the same situation as you, or trained professionals.

Local support services
Each MS Society branch or group has a support service, run by a team of support volunteers. Local MS Support teams aim to empower people affected by MS by giving information about MS, providing emotional support, and signposting to local services.
This is a vital front line service for people with MS, carers and families, who may want someone to talk to, or would like to know what’s available in their local area
Support volunteers can help with:
-emotional support
-information about MS and local services
-signposting to specialist advice and information
-accessing financial support, for example grants
-developing relationships with local health and social care professionals
-home, hospital and care home visits
-finding out about social groups and activities
