KIKIT Pathways to Recovery has been commissioned by Birmingham Public Health and working in partnership with Umbrella to improve access to sexual health services for young men from under-served communities.
KIKIT has conducted research for Birmingham Public Health 2014 for sexual health redesign of services. KIKIT have also conducted sexual health research for NHS University Hospital Birmingham.
The following report was included in NHS Birmingham University Hospital tendering process, for which they have recently been awarded the Birmingham sexual health contract.
KIKIT in partnership with NHS Birmingham University Hospital will be providing BME specialist sexual health services in community languages.
We provide a range of services from our community based service:
•Friendly advice and information
•Referral to pregnancy testing and advice
•Referral to psycho-sexual services
•Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing kit
•HIV support & testing referrals
•Community awareness workshops
