What is the Ingeus Health and Work Support Programme?
Our Health and Work Support Programme is a new pilot programme in the Midlands. It aims to help people who are further away from work to manage their health and wellbeing so that eventually they can move closer to looking for work and finding a job.
We understand that it may be some time before participants are ready to work. The focus of the programme is health and wellbeing support - at no point are participants forced to look for work.
Who are Personal Health Advisors?
Our Personal Health Advisors are all qualified, registered health professionals who are trained to support people with health concerns to manage their health and wellbeing.
Ingeus provides:
-A one-to-one personalised service
-Advice from qualified, registered health professionals
-A friendly, positive and caring environment
-Support that is tailored to each participant's situation
-Advice about finding work, when participants feel ready
What happens at the first appointment with Ingeus?
At the first appointment, a Personal Health Advisor will take time to listen to each participant's health concerns to get a real understanding of the support they need.
The Personal Health Advisor will offer advice, guidance and practical solutions to help participants manage their health and wellbeing more effectively, at a pace that suits them.
