As part of Freshwind’s holistic approach to service users needs, FInDA provides an Advice and Welfare Information Service.

We can advise you on issues relating to Debt and Money Advice and Welfare Benefits advice including Tribunal Representation. We are also registered with the OISC to provide Level 3 Immigration and Nationality Advice. These services are funded by Birmingham City Council and are available for residents of Birmingham.

In order to make these services as accessible as possible, we run a number of outreach surgeries and you can access information on the location and time of these by contacting us directly.

We also have a Health and Family Support, and an Advice Service based at Lozells and East Handsworth Children’s Centres, which provides specialist one to one support to families. This service can only be accessed according to postcode and is not an open door service.
We may ask you where you live or for other information about you in order to ensure that you receive the most appropriate service from us. If we are unable to assist you we will refer you to an organization that will be able to.
If you would like to access our Advice and Information Services, please contact us directly on 0121 415 6670 and ask to speak to the Advice and Welfare Team.
