OCN level 3 Conductor Assistant
The course is delivered part-time over a period of 12-18 months and whilst successful completion only will lead to the award of “Conductor Assistant”, credits can be gained for each unit successfully completed.
On successful completion of the course, a conductor assistant will be qualified to facilitate CE programs alongside a qualified Conductor.
For assistants not currently working within a CE environment other workshops/courses may be of interest.

OCN Level 3 Parkinson's Expert Carer
This course is designed for carers working in a nursing, residential or private home environment. The course is delivered part time and offers a wide range of practical techniques to enable a person with Parkinson’s to maximise their level of activity. By understanding how the condition affects the person and the wider implications of this in their daily life carers will be better placed to facilitate learning rather than replacing skills the person now finds difficult. This positive approach to caring will be beneficial for both the carer and the person receiving the support.

This course can be taught in any location providing there are a minimum of 10 learners.

OCN Level 3 Stroke Expert Carer
This course is designed for carers working in a nursing, residential or private home environment. The course is delivered part time and offers a wide range of practical techniques to support the continued learning of a stroke survivor. Stroke survivors can and will learn for many many years post-stroke however in order to do this they need access to carers who truly understand their potential. This course is designed to help facilitate this learning by teaching the carer how to facilitate the individual’s journey towards greater independence.

This course can be taught in any location providing there are a minimum of 10 learners.
