New Routes is a fostering service that has been provided by Father Hudson’s Care since 1992. It is made up of a small, friendly team focused on the wellbeing and outcomes of the children and young people we support.
Based near Birmingham, we welcome enquiries from people living in the West Midlands County, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.
New Routes fostering has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED for the last few years, with the most recent inspection being held in February 2015. We are a preferred fostering provider of many local authorities in the area and receive many requests for children and young people to live with our foster carers.
We pride ourselves on the quality of the service and support offered to foster carers; we take care to match children and young people with carers who can meet their needs. With the welfare of children and young people at the heart of all we do, we ensure all children and young people cared for by New Routes foster carers reach their full potential. Our foster carers are well supported and trained in order that they can achieve this.
One benefit of being supported by a small, friendly team is that our foster carers often tell us they feel part of a family. We get to know the carer and the child or young person so we can provide the best support specific to the situation.
Staff, children and foster carers all work together as a team.
