Domestic Abuse
By working with other agencies we want to help protect residents from the harm of domestic abuse.

What is Domestic Abuse?
Domestic Abuse covers controlling, coercive or threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between people aged 16 or over who are or have been intimate partners or family members, regardless of gender or sexuality. It includes the following types of abuse:

emotional abuse
How to report Domestic Abuse
Contact us on 0121 561 7934 or email us through myhome.bchg and we will aim to offer a face to face meeting within 24 hours or the next working day after a weekend.

Alternatively we want to make sure a face to face interview is arranged with a local specialist agency and they know our contact details. We want to ensure that you speak to the right person and that you get the right support from the outset.

In an emergency, domestic abuse should be reported to the police on 999.

If you see someone else being a victim of domestic abuse and want to report it anonymously, you can do so through Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or via the Crimestoppers website It is free and completely confidential.
