Our services for the elderly operates exercise and activities at several centres spread throughout the city for vulnerable elderly Irish. We have a central elder's day centre, elders satellite activity sites, an elders social club.
Our 5 day a week activity centre provides an opportunity for Irish service users to access a hot meal, take part in stimulating activities, social interaction, information and advice and personal support.
Our satellite classes allow us to deliver locally to people in their community. Elders social club and community sites provide a stimulating and trusted environment for people to meet up and access services.
The front office provides a gateway to all services providing information on Irish pensions, passports, accessing events, culture & heritage, welfare benefits, housing support, health issues and re-settlement. Here we carry out initial assessments of the individuals needs before allocating them to a dedicated case worker for more in depth support or signposting.
