A free stay-at-home strength and balance exercise programme for older adults in B31 and B45 who may feel less confident and stable on their feet due to lockdown. Those undertaking the programme should not have any significant health conditions or have received clinical advice to highlight restrictions to exercise.
The programme is intended to provide maximum flexibility with personal trainer support available as required.
The programme consists of:
A “Get Steady” printed booklet, which provides basic exercises and
how to progress in the programme if required.
If anyone wish to take things forward they can contact System Fitness for an assessment / monitoring form. Once this is completed
and returned, an individual personal training plan and detailed exercises will be provided.
At any stage, telephone support will be available to provide advice
and optional reviews.
