Birmingham Crisis Centre counselling service aims to provide a safe, confidential environment and time for residents to talk through their problems and difficult experiences. One-to-one counselling is support for those facing decisions and changes in their lives and helps them to find ways to cope.

Our belief is that all people have the potential to fulfil their own desires and acknowledge their own needs when given an opportunity to safely explore their thoughts and feelings.

The service operates within the BACP Ethical Framework (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
The Counselling Service is provided by experienced volunteer counsellors and supported professionally by a clinical supervisor, who also monitors the professional ethics of the service.
The service is confidential. Access to the service is self-referral by prospective clients themselves.
