The Children and Young People Service is an integral part of BID Services’ provision for the communities we serve. The core purpose is supporting the education, personal and social development of children and young people to enable them to reach their full potential and make a successful transition into adult life. We aim to provide consistent and appropriate support to young people whilst effectively addressing their needs such as helping them to make informed choices about their lives without worrying about language or cultural barriers.
Thanks to funding from Children in Need, we are now running a weekly youth club for young deaf people, from 8 - 14 years old. The youth club launched in October 2014 and runs every Wednesday evenings during term time.
