NK Care Services are providers of high quality community care. Our floating support service supports clients with a mental illness, learning disability, autism, personality disorder and/or complex needs to live as independently as possible in the community. At NK Care Services we understand the importance of positive physical, mental and psychological health and the role it plays in daily living. Our service is unique in that it has been developed by a HCPC registered consultant psychologist, who is on hand to provide advice, guidance and support to our staff, our clients and their carers. Our staff team consists of both support workers and psychology staff.
NK Care Services aims to assist clients to learn new life skills. We understand the importance of early intervention and prevention. With our expertise, we can provide high quality community care to individuals with complex needs. Our service model enables individuals who are ready to leave hospital, to be discharged with confidence knowing that they will receive high quality care in the community. We are also committed to providing clients with the right support in the community in order to reduce the risk of readmission to hospital/secure services. We follow a social inclusion and recovery model. We are CQC registered.
Our community psychology service offers a range of group based and individual interventions, including coping skills enhancement, mental health awareness, relaxation skills, anger treatment, assertiveness training, social skills training, understanding anxiety and understanding depression.
