We have a total of 23 supported accommodation projects in Birmingham, offering accommodation to both single young homeless people and young families with small children.
Our two designated emergency accommodation projects are Milner Court and Yardley House. We also have direct access facilities at some of our other fully supported projects. Young people will live in Emergency accommodation for up to 3 months while their circumstances are assessed and an appropriate longer term solution is found for them.
Our longer term supported accommodation projects range from providing 4 units of accommmodation to 48 units and offer different levels of support from fully supported accommodation projects where staff are on site 24/7 on to varying degrees of semi-independent accommodation. We also have two designated mother and baby schemes, one is fully supported (Trentham House), the other semi-independent (Priory House). Our aim is to ensure young people can live independently once they move on. We also have 8 units of fully independent accommodation in Birmingham (Trinity Court) where there are no staff based on site but young people can call staff if they need them.
