Hearing Loss - Children & Young People - Holiday Activities
Deaf Cultural Centre
The Children and Young People Service is an integral part of BID Services’ provision for the communities we serve. The core purpose is supporting the education, personal and social development of children and young people to enable them to reach their full potential and make a successful transition into adult life. We aim to provide consistent and appropriate support to young people whilst effectively addressing their needs such as helping them to make informed choices about their lives without worrying about language or cultural barriers.
We organise a number of holiday activities for deaf children and their siblings. Activities range from dancing, climbing, sailing, eco work, volunteering with the National Trust, jungle challenge, tobogganing, orienteering and trips!
