Why Volunteer?
Volunteering is an excellent way to gain work experience, give something back to your community, develop new skills, build up your CV, make new friends and enjoy new experiences. We warmly welcome volunteers at St. Paul’s and believe they make a valuable contribution to our work in all departments.
St. Paul’s Volunteering Scheme
We offer lots of opportunities for volunteers of all ages and from different walks of life. There are many opportunities within the different departments of St. Paul’s and other local community organisations. We will try our best to find a placement that fits in with your availability and ensure that it is compatible with your own interests, skills and goals.
All volunteer placements are subject to suitable references and DBS check, which the volunteer’s co-ordinator will process.
Volunteers are required to attend training in Safeguarding the Welfare of Children and Young People, Equality, Data Protection, Disability Awareness, Health and Safety and Food Hygiene.
Our courses are now NOCN accredited qualifications.
On occasions we also arrange free training in other subject areas such as CV writing or First Aid.
For more information please contact the Volunteer Co-ordinator on 464 1888
