First aid and health and safety training courses

St John Ambulance is the first aid and health and safety trainer of choice for hundreds of thousands of companies, local authorities, and members of the public.

First aid and health and safety training courses for the workplace

With thousands of training courses across the country, including a full suite of first aid, risk assessment, fire marshal, and moving and handling courses, we enable hundreds of thousands of people to be the difference in their workplace – and outside of work – to protect their colleagues, family, friends, and members of the community.

We have over 240 venues nationwide so the right course is never far away. If you have a group that needs training we can come to you and deliver the training on your premises. This can not only save you time, but also money. Simply complete an online enquiry form and we'll be in touch to discuss your options.

Not sure what training you need to meet your legal requirements?

Simply enter a few details about your workplace in our online requirements calculator** and find out immediately what first aid training you need to meet your legal requirements. We'll also advise you of your fire safety and first aid kit requirements. Call 0844 770 4800* to speak with an advisor in your area.

You can also use our printable first aid and fire safety checklists** to help you get first aid and fire safety provision right in your workplace:

- Download your first aid checklist

Training for schools, pre-schools and those looking after children and infants

St John Ambulance works with schools across the UK to:
-train teachers and staff
-teach first aid to students
-provide the resources so that teachers can deliver first aid and health and safety lessons and activities as part of the teaching curriculum.
First aid training in the community

We go right into the heart of the community with first aid training for local organisations and groups, for people who look after young children and infants.

*Calls cost 7p per minute plus your phone company's access charge.
**The calculators and checklists are for guidance only and do not replace the need for a full first aid needs assessment and fire risk assessment in your workplace
