We are now taking referrals in the Birmingham area, support services include group sessions online along with one to one support interventions. this is facilitated via 1:1 support, mentoring and group activities. We have a weekly group each week for children and young people who live in Birmingham.
As a response to Covid-19, we are now providing virtual group sessions for children with a parent in prison and their families. These sessions connect children with other children in similar situations and with similar feelings. We also provide targeted 1:1 support to help children manage feelings and emotions. The support is totally without cost to the families. We are currently able to accept referrals.
In 2019 we won the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. This is the highest award given to volunteer groups across the UK to recognise the exceptional service within their communities.
